Vistaprint FAQ (Official Rep) January 11, 2012 20:34

How do I build links on my website or email marketing campaign?
Edit Subject

Creating a Link

You can add hyperlinked text or images on your website to link visitors to other pages on your website, pages on other websites or to e-mail addresses. To make a text link, follow this process:

  1. Highlight the text you wish to link on your website

  2. Click the link button on the toolbar.

  3. The link dialog box will appear, allowing you to choose the type of link
:
  • To link to a page on your website, select the page you want to link.

  • To link to a page on another website, enter the address.

  • To link to an e-mail address, enter the e-mail address. This type of link will open in your visitor's e-mail program.

Do your links work?
In order to see your link working, preview your website by clicking on the 'Preview' button at the top of the page. If your link works properly in the preview, it will work on your published site. In the Site Builder, links are not clickable so that you can edit them and change them easily.

Update Existing Links

You can edit existing text links by highlighting the link and clicking the link button on the toolbar. This will bring up the link window which will allow you to change the link.

To edit an image link, right click on the image and select "Link." The link window will appear where you can change it.

Deleting Links

To remove an existing text link, highlight the link and click the link button on the toolbar. When the link window appears, select "None" from the options. This will remove the link from the text.

To remove an image link, right click on the image and select "Link" from the menu that appears. When the link window appears, select "None" from the options. This will remove the link from the image.

I know how to link a document but how do I get that link, when clicked by viewers, to open in a separate window? This way my website will still be up and additionally so with the clicked on link in a separate window.

This does NOT answer my question. I want to link a web site to a PAGE TITLE on the menu.

To create the link, one must highlight the text or image to link to. When trying to highlight a page title in the menu collumn it takes you to that page.

I don't want to go to that page. I want the page title to go to another web site.

    So, I rephrase the question:

How do I highlight a page title in the menu in order to link to it ?

    Hi,
I have different product store pages on my website, each with paypal/checkout options. How do I link these pages together so that if a customer wants to purchase multiple different products, it will appear on one checkout page rather than separate checkout pages.
I hope I am making sense here with what I'm after.
    Cheers

On my website I have a page that I want to open up to another website of mine so it looks like you are just viewing another page but it is in fact a separate stand alone website. I also want the new website to have it's own domain name so it can be found on search engines as well. How do I do it?
